Voith is to modernize several turbines and supply three vertical Kaplan runners for the Rheinkraftwerk Albbruck-Dogern hydropower project on the German-Swiss border in a €25M contract.
Project owner Rheinkraftwerk Albbruck-Dogern AG (RADAG) awarded Voith a multi-phase contract for the modernization work. The first contract stage covers the modernization of one machine set with an order volume of €10M, while the remaining two machine sets will be refurbished in the next project phase. In total, the order is worth approximately €25M.
