Five more hydroelectric projects may be built on the mid Kwanza River under plans unveiled by the Angolan Government.
According to reports from the Angolan news agency, studies have already been carried out on the projects which would be located on the mid reaches of the river.
If the projects go ahead, the Mid Kwanza river would produce around 7000MW of power taking into account existing schemes.
