The 30MW hydropower project at the multipurpose dam at Gurara in Kaduna will be ready by early next year, Nigeria’s Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, has announced.
During a working tour of the facility, the Minister assured that all the bottlenecks that have caused delay in realizing this project would be removed, adding that considerable progress already made would be harnessed.
The project is expected to help the country address its over-dependence on gas.
