Construction work on the Dewana dam in the province of Sulaimani, Kurdistan, is expected to complete by November 2019, Kurdistan 24 has reported.

The news outlet quoted Akram Mohammed, the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) Director for Dams and Water Resources, as stating that the dam would be operational by the end of the year, with the capacity of storing up to 22Mm3 of water annually.
