An auction has been launched for the right to install floating solar parks on the reservoirs on seven dams in Portugal, Reuters has reported.
The parks are expected to have a total capacity of 263MW, which include 100MW installed at Alqueva dam and 50MW at the Castelo de Bode dam.
Portugal's energy secretary Joao Galamba announced the auction last week, and said interested parties needed to submit bids by 4 April.
