Stantec has been awarded a US $12 million task order contract by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) St. Louis District to provide architecture and engineering (A/E) design services for civil works projects.
Under the contract, Stantec will provide a variety of engineering services for projects throughout the Continental United States and beyond, including environmental restoration, flood and erosion control, site planning, value engineering, geotechnical exploration, laboratory testing, and analysis. These projects can include design and engineering for pump stations, water control structures, levees, and dams. The firm may also be called upon to provide A/E services for vertical construction design projects.
“Our team stands ready to support the USACE in its mission at home and abroad,” said Chris Williams, senior vice president for Stantec’s US Federal Program. “We have a longstanding history providing successful civil works projects on a national and global scale, and we look forward to expanding our work with the St. Louis District.”
Stantec has a more than 60-year history of successful project delivery for USACE globally. The firm has completed thousands of task orders for civil works projects, including the concept development and design of the Chickamauga Lock Replacement for the USACE Nashville District and full design services for the Permanent Canal Closures and Pumps Project for the USACE New Orleans District. In addition to civil works projects, Stantec is actively delivering on task orders for military programs and environmental services with USACE districts around the world.
