Construction of the projects was approved by the Government at the end of last year, and a strategic environment assessment is currently underway, notes Green Home, which is WWF’s local partner.
The critique is based on their study carried out on the potential impacts of the projects on the catchment, and published in the report “Proposed Construction of Dams on Moraca River: Environmental Risk Assessment of Moraca Canyon and Skadar lake”.
