Last year WER secured construction contracts and purchase power agreements for three projects in Guatemala, and announced plans for a further 10 sites. WKV will build the turbines for the first three plants, which are scheduled for completion by the end of this year.
In a related development, Energia Total has signed agreements with WER to purchase 100% of the power generated by the three projects.
