The 28MW Piney plant is located on the Clarion river in Pennsylvania, and the Deep Creek plant is a 20MW facility based on the Youghiogheny river in Maryland. Their combined output is 96GWh.
‘The addition of these two peaking facilities marks our entry into the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland (PJM) electricity market,’ said Harry Goldgut, Co-Chair and Chief Executive of Brascan Power.
