Under the contract, Power Machines is to manufacture and supply hydraulic turbines, hydraulic generators, hydrogenerator excitation systems, and automated control systems, and provide installation supervision services. The deliveries and works stipulated by this contract are to be completed in February 2012.
The upgrade and modernization activities are expected to significantly improve equipment performance and enhance its reliability, while also enabling an increase of Baksanskaya’ rated capacity from 25MW to 27MW.
