The company has announced plans to recruit up to 20 new employees over the next 12-18 months to add to its workforce of around 50 permanent employees mostly located at the company’s Technical Centre in Greenore, Co. Louth.
The new positions will primarily be in engineering and operations, to include; project engineers and managers, manufacturing engineers, as well as specialist finite element and structural engineers. The company is also looking for engineering graduates who will have the opportunity to start and develop their careers with the firm.
OpenHydro has a project portfolio spanning the USA, Canada, France, Scotland and the UK’s Channel Islands with utility partners including Bord Gáis, edf, Nova Scotia Power, SSE Renewables and SnoPUD. OpenHydro has won a number of awards for its innovations in the field of renewable energy technology.
