Work will include new designs, testing and commissioning complete control systems at the power stations.

“Work on both projects will start immediately and we’ll be delivering by summer 2012,” said Göran Urby, head of Hydro Power Services at Semcon’s office in Karlstad. “Both hydroelectric power stations will receive an upgrade of the entire electrical system and control equipment. This will include new station computers, plant computers, turbine regulators, magnetisations and remote control for operation centres.”
