Applied Geomechanics (AG) has released a new hand-held readout unit and data logger known as AD-Visor.
The unit combines the company’s Handspring Visor personal digital assistant, a plug-in analog-to-digital conversion module and Palm OS-compatible software to create a powerful new test and measurement tool, says AG.
The Ad-Visor can store project information, sensor scale factors and individual readings. Measurements can be transferred to a PC by a standard Hot-Sync operation. Data from pressure transducers, displacement transducers, tiltmeters and inclinometers are logged with the AD-Visor unit.
