This project includes replacement of the stator core and other components. Disassembly and reassembly of the rotating machinery will be accomplished by USBR’s Northern California Area Office employees. The contract includes an option for the second unit at this two-unit facility for $4M.
The Spring Creek power plant is a feature of the Trinity River Division of the Central Valley Project, with a combined generating capacity of 190MW.
