Grundt will take over the role of Jørgen Kildahl who recently resigned from Statkraft. In his over 10 years in Statkraft, Grundt has had management positions within Energy Management and Trading & Origination, and since 2008 he has been in charge of the Trading & Continental Operations Business Unit. Grundt holds a Master of Science degree from NTH in Trondheim and a Master of Management degree from NSM in Oslo.
“Asbjørn is a highly competent executive with a lot of business and industry expertise. He has been instrumental in building up and realising Statkraft’s profitable growth in Europe and he was an obvious candidate for this position” said CEO and President Bård Mikkelsen.
