B&V said it was expanding its dams and reservoirs unit within its water division to support initiatives related to water scarcity and aging infrastructure – areas where it anticipates significant growth internationally. Within the division are sister units focused on water resources, hydropower and large hydraulic structures.
MWH is opening an office in Vancouver that will initially focus on engineering services to the hydropower and mining sectors. The new office is part of a strategic expansion of services in western Canada and the Pacific Northwest.
The companies did not immediately quantify the expansions.
