Construction on the US$900M project will start in 2013, with electricity from the project to be sold by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT).
Consortium to build Laos plant
A consortium of Thai power firm Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding and Korean companies SK Construction and Korea Western Power are to develop a 390MW hydroelectric project in Senamnoi in Southern Laos, the Strait Times has reported.
