UK-based Gardline Surveys has formed an alliance with Soil Mechanics, a division of Environmental Services Group Ltd (ESGL) also of the UK.
The deal is intended to combine the two companies’ expertise in marine surveys and site investigation. Prior to the deal, Gardline’s key services included marine geophysical surveys, marine management services, seabed geotechnical acquisition services and marine environmental and oceanographic services.
Now the company offers NAMAS accredited chemical and geotechnical testing, onboard testing facilities, geotechnical engineering and foundation design services and specialised nearshore geophysics.
ESGL will benefit from access to Gardline’s international infrastructure, and will be able to offer marine environmental and oceanographic services and seabed PCPT and coring services.
