The electrical and mechanical works of the 254MW Genale Dawa-III hydropower project in Ethiopia are in place, says developer Ethiopian Electric Power, and construction is 94% complete.
Once complete, the project will raise Ethiopia’s installed electricity generating capacity from 4260MW to 4514MW.
