The complex, in the province of Al-Hasaka, is being developed by the Ministry of Irrigation with private Syrian company HESCO Engineering & Construction Co.
It will include water intake facilities with the total capacity of 110m3/sec, the lower pool, five penstocks with a diameter of about 3m and length of 300m.
