Kirejczyk has more than 37 years of experience in the hydropower industry, working for the world’s leading manufacturers of hydraulic turbines and pump turbines. He has conducted numerous feasibility and design studies, turbine performance assessments, and performance and design testing. He has led development of environmentally friendly turbine and pump turbine designs, and been active in new technology for variable speed pump turbines, HDR said in a statement.

Kirejczyk holds a Ph.D in mechanical engineering/fluid dynamics of turbomachinery from the Polish Academy of Sciences, Gdansk, Poland.
