Mavel said the Clemina Creek and Serpentine Creek contracts were awarded by Canadian Hydro Developers. The Upper Clowhom contract was awarded by Hydrolax Energy, part of Enmax Corp. All three contracts were placed on behalf of the developers by their common project manager and project engineer, Canadian Projects.

Serpentine Creek has the highest head at 277.5m. The head at Clemina Creek is just over 206m and the net head at Upper Clowhom is 165.2m, respectively.

The Serpentine Creek and Clemina Creek sites will have five-jet Peltons of 1060m runner diameter. At Upper Clowhom, the turbine runner diameter is 1700mm.
