As part of the investment Neoenergia plans to build four small scale projects with total capacity of 80.2MW, according to BN Americas. It will also invest in the 140MW Baguari I scheme, the 93.6MW Corumba III project, and the Dardanelos project, which will have an installed capacity of 261MW.
Corumba III is the only project so far to have been awarded a full environmental licence. The other projects have been awarded concession contracts, with most of their power sold at auction.
