Stucky and Gruner have announced they are now operating under a single Gruner brand, nine years after the two companies merged in 2013, with the Stucky name now changed to Gruner Stucky Ltd.
The company’s headquarters in Renens has been moved simultaneously to a new address in larger offices. These premises offer additional space for growth and an attractive working environment, said the company. Branch office locations in French speaking Switzerland and abroad and all previous contact details remain unchanged.
The name change is the latest chapter in a long and successful story that began in 1915, when Alfred Stucky joined Heinrich Gruner's company in Basel and worked there until 1926, before starting his own business. The merger in 2013 enabled Stucky to expand its market activities and benefit from the operational resources of one of the largest Swiss engineering and planning consultancies.
