Norwegian investors are interested in opportunities in the hydropower sector in Pakistan, Norwegian Ambassador to Pakistan Cecilie Landsverk has said, adding that the sector can play a major role in overcoming energy shortages in the country.
According to newswire reports, Landsverk said that utilizing the country’s hydropower potential with the help of international donors could tackle power shortfall on a sustainable basis.
The ambassador said her country’s investors were also interested in the gas sector in Pakistan.
