• UK-BASED FLASK SERVICES, specialist in asset and facilities management for a variety of industry sectors, has announced the appointment of Martin Hall as a director (pictured). Hall joins Flask following 18 years at the Water Research Centre (WRC), latterly as principal consultant at WRC Consulting.
• ALSO IN THE UK , two new non-executive directors have been appointed to help the Export Credits Guarantee Department (ecgd) widen the range of external advice and expertise on its management board. As well as using their wider private sector experience to help with strategic planning within ECGD, the two directors – Tony Davies, senior banking advisor at Lloyds TSB, and John Wright, director at both Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank – will add an independent perspective to decision-making on the management board.
• IN THE US, Ramsey M McDermid, Charles Robinson, Iqbal Ahmed and Jerry Gardner have been appointed to senior project management positions at GEI Consultants. They will oversee projects in the firm’s California, Colorado and Massachusetts, US, branches.
