Finnish energy company PVO-Vesivoima Oy and Caverion Corporation today announced the continuation of their strategic partnership for the operation and maintenance of hydropower plants in Finland.
Caverion will continue in its role overseeing the O&M of PVO-Vesivoima’s hydropower facilities situated along the Iijoki and Kemijoki rivers, as well as the Melo hydropower plant on the Kokemäenjoki river.
The partnership aims to foster collaboration in developing service and maintenance activities, with a primary focus on enhancing hydropower expertise for the future. The mutual objective is to ensure cost-efficiency, robust risk management, and reliability of the power plants.
Jani Pulli, the Managing Director of PVO-Vesivoima, expressed confidence in the ongoing collaboration, stating: “We expect our operation and maintenance partners to commit to common goals. We have received high-quality service from Caverion, which perfectly contributes to the reliability of the power plants.”
Earlier this month, Caverion also announced that it will continue as Kemijoki Oy’s service provider for 18 hydropower plants located in the Kemi and Lieksanjoki watersheds in Finland.
