Logashri Sewnarain, the Chief Executive Officer of SMEC South Africa, has been appointed as a board member of Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA).
CESA, a voluntary association, consists of more than 600 consulting engineering firms, employing around 21,000 professionals collectively. With a history spanning over 70 years, CESA celebrates its inclusive membership, accommodating companies of diverse sizes and ownership models.
Sewnarain has maintained a longstanding association with CESA, actively participating in different roles and committees throughout her career. In 2019, she represented CESA at the 26th World Road Congress in Abu Dhabi, delivering a presentation highlighting the crucial role of Consulting Engineering Associations in advocating for governance, transparency, and quality in delivering suitable infrastructure solutions.
