BG Titan Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with BB Holding to develop the Tamakoshi 3 Hydropower Project in Nepal. The project aims to produce 650MW of renewable energy and generate approximately 2,431.76 GWh of clean energy annually, contributing significantly to Nepal’s energy security and reducing dependency on fossil fuels.

Located in the Dolakha District, the Tamakoshi 3 project will harness the Tamakoshi River and is one of the largest peaking run-of-the-river hydropower projects in the country. This initiative is part of BG Titan’s commitment, in collaboration with USAID, to support sustainable energy development in Nepal.

BG Titan Group is seeking financing and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partners for the project, offering potential for high internal rates of return (IRR). Interested parties are encouraged to contact BG Titan Group at info@bgtitangroup.com.

“This partnership is more than a business agreement; it is a shared vision for a sustainable future that benefits both the people of Nepal and the global community,” stated BG Titan Group.

The Tamakoshi 3 project is expected to create jobs, improve local infrastructure, and set a benchmark for future green energy projects in the region.
