During the 2012 World Water Week, Prof. Andras Szollosi-Nagy, Rector of UNESCO-IHE told the News Agency of Nigeria that if the continen’s hydro capacity was harnessed it could provide adequate power for the region and generate a number of new business opportunities.
Szollosi-Nagy was quoted as saying that water should be seen as a business opportunity and not a risk, and with investment in capacity building and training, the industry would yield profit.
